It happened at around 12:05 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16 in the area of Fourth and Fifth Streets. 

Officers located the man on Fourth Street near North Main Street. 

Ansonia Police say he was shot in the hip and leg, and was transported to a local hospital where he is listed as being in serious but stable condition.
